The G3 Series Centralized Metering Enclosures are constructed from high-quality stainless steel or powder-coated galvanized steel. They offer heavy-duty protection against corrosion, dust, rust, water, UV radiation, and flame, making them an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor installations. The compact footprint efficiently accommodates 12 or 18 pluggable meters and 1 data collector. These hot-swappable meters integrate seamlessly with their dedicated bases inside the enclosure, enabling rapid installation and removal to significantly minimize maintenance costs.
Product Advantages
Integrated Design
Designed for pluggable meters and data collectors, it accommodates 12 or 18 single-phase energy meters. The uplink communication utilizes GPRS/3G/4G or Wi-SUN technology, while the CIU (Customer Interface Unit) communicates with the meter box via Power Line Carrier (PLC) technology. Metering data can be retrieved by an HHU (Handheld Unit) using Wi-Fi technology. It also features Bluetooth cascade connection, supporting both slave mode and master mode (optional).
Anti-tampering
Features enclosure door sealing and a door lock, with 24-hour door-open detection during power outages (optional). Upon detecting an unauthorized door opening, the internal meter relay is automatically disconnected.
Usability
The CIU enables local balance inquiry and recharging. Featuring a lightweight, compact design for simple installation, it supports local data reading and configuration via the HHU.
Flexible Installation
Supports wall and pole mounting, adapts to various cable sizes, and features Bluetooth wireless cascading.
