SF₆-Free Gas-Insulated RMU

Product Description

The HXGNA-12 type eco-friendly gas-insulated metal-enclosed AC switchgear is a new-generation power distribution switchgear developed based on the national achievement of the ‘dual-carbon’ goals. Its technical characteristics are utilizing synthesized dry air to replace SF₆ gas as the insulating medium, and employing vacuum switches for the switching of load currents and fault currents. The equipment layout features a three-position switch designed at the upper end of the vacuum switch to convert between conduction, isolation, and grounding functions. The prospective grounding short-circuit current of the line is closed by the vacuum switch within the loop, which can effectively prevent arc pollution to the internal environment of the enclosure during the closing process. The overall dimensions, operating sequence, and ‘five-proofing’ interlocks of the ring main unit fully comply with the regulations of the State Grid typical design schemes.
