Product Description
The Distributed Distribution Terminal Unit (DTU) is a core piece of equipment in distribution automation. Utilizing a decentralized architecture, it consists of bay units (installed within switchgear cubicles) and a common unit (for centralized management) that collaborate seamlessly via a communication bus. It is primarily deployed in ring main units (RMUs), switching stations, and distribution rooms within 10kV networks.
The HXD320-DCU distribution automation common unit is responsible for acquiring data from measurement and control units. It communicates with the master station system to upload and report all collected information.
The HXD320-CMU distribution automation bay unit performs measurement, protection, and control for the switchgear to enable distribution automation functions. It communicates with the HXD320-DCU management unit to upload and report all collected information.
