Product Description
The 10kV cable branch box without switches, commonly known as an “American-style branch box” or “cable joints and tapping box,” features an extremely simple structural design for cable connection and tapping. Its core function is to serve as a physical connection and insulation sealing point for multiple cables, without any making/breaking, control, or protection capabilities. Acting essentially as a cable “terminal block” or “insulated socket assembly,” it provides an economical solution for flexible cable extension and branching in 10kV distribution networks.

Product Advantages
Pure Connectivity
It is designed solely for the direct and permanent electrical connection of one or more incoming cables to multiple outgoing cables for power distribution. As a fully passive node, its operational status depends entirely on the connected cables and the upstream power supply.

Full Insulation and Full Screening
All cable connection points are sealed within high-performance solid insulating materials (such as silicone rubber, EPDM) or insulating oil/gel. This ensures that live components are fully enclosed, touch-safe, and highly reliable.

Cable T-Connection
Branch lines can be conveniently tapped off without cutting the main backbone cable, utilizing prefabricated separable connectors (commonly known as Tee or Elbow connectors), or piercing/bolted connectors.

No Operating Mechanism
There are no operable switches or circuit breakers inside the enclosure. For a power outage, switching operations must be performed at the upstream switching station (such as a ring main unit or substation).

Passive Device
All cable connection points are sealed within high-performance solid insulating materials (such as silicone rubber, EPDM) or insulating oil/gel, ensuring that live components are fully enclosed, touch-safe, and highly reliable.
