Hexing Electrical has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Association of Mayors of Senegal (AMS) and MALAAJI SOLAR to jointly advance local community solar electrification. The signing ceremony was held in Dakar, attended and witnessed by several local government representatives.

The partnership aims to equip Senegalese municipalities with green energy infrastructure, including solar power systems, water pumps, public lighting, and water supply solutions. Hexing, through its sub-brand LIVOLTEK, will provide a complete turnkey technical solution and solar products.
The initiative will focus on supporting sectors such as agriculture, livestock, healthcare, education, and public infrastructure, significantly driving Senegal’s sustainable development goals and green energy transition.
Oumar Ba, President of AMS, emphasized: “Expanding electricity coverage in remote areas is crucial, and solar energy will be the most effective solution.”

The project will also focus on technical capacity building, cultivating energy management professionals by training local officials and youths, and creating job opportunities, thereby enhancing energy autonomy and resilience at the community level.
